Madison Gallery presents Minimal Thought, current works by abstract painter Richard Roblin and minimalist sculptor, Lori Cozen-Geller.
Exhibition will feature new minimalist sculpture from Lori Cozen-Geller’s original collection. The newest pieces were produced as reflections on her recent journey through Europe. These constructed forms use simplicity to convey the emotions of the heart and mind and place them into visual form and space. 13 wall mounted sculptures will be presented. Additionally, the exhibition features a new series of work from abstract painter Richard Roblin. Entitled “Here and Now” this series explores the use of form, space and color to provoke insight and inner luminosity. Recent acquisitions from the artist’s past series will also be showcased to display the multiple creative periods of Richard Roblin’s career.
Lori Cozen-Geller is a Los Angeles native and her education includes a BA from the University of Southern California. She lives in Venice, California and works out of her Venice studio. Canadian painter Richard Roblin is an internationally recognized artistic master. His passion for creativity extends through his practice of architecture, design, sculpture and painting. Roblin’s works are exhibited and collected widely through commercial galleries and museums, including the Museum of Modern Art in New York.
